Overview
SEL coaching can be a challenging role. On any given day, SEL Coaches may deliver professional learning, mentor teachers, coordinate SEL teams, and work directly with students for SEL instruction and support. Overall, coaches are there to problem-solve with their teachers, leadership, and school staff. They can use the problem-solving steps and consultation models to guide their work. In this course for SEL Coaches, participants will learn advanced practices for creating teams and engaging teachers and other educational stakeholders in schoolwide SEL implementation.
