1,500 applications and nominations received from around the world for 15 categories; Kickboard one of four Honorable Mentions in the Crystal Clear award category
NEW ORLEANS — Oct. 31, 2014 — Kickboard, developers of the award-winning software of the same name, has received an Honorable Mention in the Crystal Clear category of the 2014 Digital Innovation in Learning Awards (DILAs). Organized by EdSurge and Digital Promise, the DILAs were created to celebrate accomplishments in education technology by educators, administrators, and ed tech organizations.
Kickboard is one of four companies receiving an Honorable Mention in the Crystal Clear Award category. The category recognizes excellence among companies that disclose privacy policies with clear, detailed descriptions of how data is used and who owns it. More than 1,500 first-round applications and nominations were received for the 15 DILA categories, for which one winner and four honorable mentions were chosen. The winners and finalists will be celebrated at the Digital Innovation in Learning Awards Gala on Nov. 21 at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View, Calif.
