Our Core Values

We start and end every day committed to making a real difference in the lives of educators, students, and their families. Because we understand the real impact a positive culture has on schools, we strive to build the same safe and happy culture in our own work environment so that each of us can thrive.

Educators Are Platinum

Educators change lives. We recognize the enormity of their jobs and do all we can to help them succeed.

Create Joy

We treat every interaction with our colleagues and customers as an opportunity to make their day.

Help Each Other Be Great

We value strong partnerships because we’re all in this together. We celebrate wins and share what works, both within the Kickboard team and across our community of schools.

Never Stop Growing

We learn rapidly and are committed to continuously improving our products and services based on educator feedback.

Stay Focused

We listen carefully and sweat the small stuff in order to build mission-critical tools and provide “no excuses” support. We work with a sense of urgency to help solve challenges in K-12 education.

Advisory Board

David Hardy Jr.

David Hardy Jr.Lorain School District CEO

The Lorain Academic Distress Commission has named St. Louis Public Schools official David Hardy Jr. to be the CEO of the embattled Lorain School District in Ohio.

As a state leader in 2013, he was responsible for initiating the district turnaround of the lowest performing schools in New Jersey by catalyzing the transformation of Camden City Schools into what is now seen as the budding national model for school district turnaround.

As a district leader in 2017, he led the academic turnaround for St. Louis Public Schools that increased the district's Annual Performance Report (APR) score from 40.5 points to 104.5 in three years. Through Mr. Hardy's strong strategic planning, prudent fiscal allocations, and goal alignment, the academic gains by students have reached highs in St. Louis that have not been seen in almost 20 years.

Most recently, David was selected to the Board of Trustees at Columbia College in Missouri. Additionally, he is an alumni of some of the most forward thinking national educational organizations in the country — including the National Superintendents Academy and the PELP Institute at Harvard University — and was named a Future Chief for Change Fellow in 2017.

Kickboard is based in downtown New Orleans, LA.
Home of jazz, great food, and some of the most innovative and inspirational educators in the country. We love being part of a thriving ed-tech community in what some have deemed, “the most-watched petri dish of education reform in the country.” The proof is in the pudding. Just a little over a decade ago, fewer than 30 percent of New Orleans students were in passing schools. Now it’s 68 percent and still climbing. Let’s hear it for student achievement!
